Well, not really. I am not a poet, but if I were, I would write an ode to the sun because when you are coming out of the bleak and cold winter, a bright, warm, sunny day is a balm to the soul! Being outside without a coat on, digging in the warm, fragrant earth, hearing the birds around you…what could be better than that?
Maybe I should have a category titled, “Food.” I went out to eat at Chili’s yesterday. I haven’t been there in so long that I can’t remember when it was that I last ate there. My friend was raving about a salad they have there, called Quesadilla Extravaganza Salad (I think that’s the name of it). She talked about it being so good for so long, that I just had to try it. Wow. It was great! I can’t describe it, you’ll just have to go and try it for yourself. Trust me, you’ll be glad that you did.
I am starting a new category, and it will be titled, Things I Like. To start it off, I can’t get out of my mind the chicken tenders (or whatever they are called there) at TGI Friday’s. I was there for lunch recently in Annapolis, and boy were those good. In fact, I can’t wait until I can go back there again and have some more! Yum!
