Tripping Through Life

So, as I was writing the last post, I was thinking more about food.  I made enchiladas a few nights ago.  I haven’t made them for a really long time.  I was getting ready to put them together and realized that I did not have any enchilada sauce.  So I looked up some recipes online (how did we ever live before the internet and Google?) and made some sauce up pretty quickly and . . . viola! . . . I had my enchiladas cooking in the oven.  They turned out very good, very tasty.  Who knew that you (I) could make enchilada sauce at home, and in just a few minutes too?

Maybe I should have a category titled, “Food.”  I went out to eat at Chili’s yesterday.  I haven’t been there in so long that I can’t remember when it was that I last ate there.  My friend was raving about a salad they have there, called Quesadilla Extravaganza Salad (I think that’s the name of it).  She talked about it being so good for so long, that I just had to try it.  Wow.  It was great!  I can’t describe it, you’ll just have to go and try it for yourself.  Trust me, you’ll be glad that you did.

I am starting a new category, and it will be titled, Things I Like.  To start it off, I can’t get out of my mind the chicken tenders (or whatever they are called there) at TGI Friday’s.  I was there for lunch recently in Annapolis, and boy were those good.  In fact, I can’t wait until I can go back there again and have some more!  Yum!
