Once you are able to think on a deeper level, the deeper level appears. You didn’t know it was there until it showed itself to you. It lets you in, there is no prejudice, because you either are or aren’t ready.

The modern world is obsessed with “progress”, “profits”, “returns”… but to what end? “Hustle culture” does not appear in the third world, and of course, neither do modern “opportunities,” but I don’t think that the absence of the latter lessens the meaning of the former’s absence.

Mushrooms can amplify the beauty of nature, but also the terror of modern society. A car can sound terrifying. You start to realize that we are surrounded by so many terrifying inhuman sounds (cars, sirens, phones, bikes) on a regular basis and we just learn to tune them out.

Loneliness is just a stop on the path to enlightenment.

There is no use for loneliness once you awaken… loneliness is living in the past or the perceived future… but joy only exists in the present.

Psychedelics are sacred. Perhaps they even reward devotion. People flirt with substances, but perhaps the substances can sense this and only rewards those who come to it with attention, loyalty and a willingness to learn what others don’t dare to touch.
