Jury Duty Was Fun

I read some lesbian literature from the book cart, snuck food out of the cafeteria, found my dead relatives in an old phone book tethered to the wall of a defunct phone booth and went on a scavenger hunt to find the painting of my friend’s father, a judge (also deceased) - a nice lawyer helped me (this is new) find it, I left behind my book as an offering… not only to the book cart but to whoever is bold enough to breach beyond the page and overcome the world.

“The World is not a thing to assimilate.
It is a thing to overcome.
Cleansing oneself of it
Is a path to Freedom.”

-Gupta
